Operating Room Doors

Photocell operating room doors and stretcher transfer door wings, specially developed for hospitals and various institutions serving the healthcare industry, are covered with antibacterial laminate or stainless-steel plates with minimal indentations and protrusions. It is produced from double surface MDF or compact laminate material on wooden boom.

It has become inevitable to use antibacterial materials in every part of the hospital structure. This type of door has become the primary choice of both private and public hospitals. Since these types of doors are usually opened with proximity sensor (hand sensor) or elbow buttons placed on the wall to protect the sterilization, it is preferred to slide the opening element to one side in order to stay close to the door. However, in cases where single wing applications are not suitable, double wing applications are also available.

In principle, it has the same features as photocell operating room doors. Unlike the operating room doors, there is a fixed partition that functions as a stretcher transfer in the door passage space after the wing is opened. Stretcher transfer compartment is produced from the same materials as the opening wing and does not disturb the functional and visual integrity of the door. The purpose of using stretcher transfer compartments is to prevent pedestrian traffic from the semi-sterile zone to the full sterile zone. In this way, the bacterial particles that can be transported to the sterile area by means of clothes from the semi-sterile area remain at the lowest level. Although the stretcher transfer compartments are stable, they are designed to be opened in special cases (for example in the case of repair, maintenance or transfer of medical equipment and equipment).
